My students are obsessed with challenges and are always looking for the next best thing. We've recently begun learning to solve the cube and have just begun desiging their own mosaics. With the addition of 50 more Rubik's cubes, my students will be able to design and assemble larger mosaics to showcase at their school. The Rubik's Cube and designing and creating the mosaic offer my students with a very rewarding experience that involves productive struggle to achieve a common goal. With the help of the lessons and guides by "You Can Do the Cube", my students will be able to solve and explore innovative ways to use the cube. Solving and designing a Rubik's Cube mosaic allows my students to work on many life skills such as visual-spatial reasoning, teamwork, critical thinking, problem solving, managing frustration, and among other things, building confidence and self-esteem.
