I am currently teaching 20 students and the traditional desk and chair does not work for every student. Some of my students work best when they can sit on the floor, whereas others need to have the ability to move. The addition of these seating options will give students the opportunity to change their learning environment to better suit their learning needs. The new seating will also free up more room in the classroom and give students more space to move around to do their work to the best of their ability. These seats will change the entire dynamic of the classroom to one where the students are taking responsibility for their learning space and feel ownership over their education. When students feel invested in their education they are more likely to try their hardest and succeed.
