These items will help create a safe and welcoming sensory room for my students with Autism Spectrum Disorder. These kids deserve a place to call their own to calm down or take a needed break. Time spent in a sensory room helps my kids improve their visual, auditory, and tactile processing, as well as fine and gross motor skills. By donating to this room, YOU will provide my kids a sense of calm and comfort as well as providing a place for them to self-regulate their behaviors to improve focus so they can get back to learning, socializing, and achieving success in the classroom. This year has been so difficult for so many, especially these kids. Please help them to have something new and exciting to look forward to when they return next school year!
