First graders are naturally excited about being at school with their friends. I would love for them to have access to a variety of toys like jump ropes, balls, and skip toys to exercise and practice basic PE skills while playing with their friends. This is a very important part of the school day for young students. I am convinced that play supports learning. I will use these engaging, fun books to support their reading progress in class and encourage them to share their favorites at home. They read Mo Willems and Dr. Seuss books over and over!

About my class
