By providing a safe space for students to calm down when upset, the students will be able to better grow academically. Students will have the option to use these resources both to focus while learning and to help them calm down when upset. The donations will allow students to learn how to better control their emotions. This will help them in the school setting but also in life outside of school. Self-regulation is an important skill for students. The clock will be used to help students visualize the amount of time they have left in activities. My students work hard every day to make good choices and come to school ready to learn. These resources will help students focus and learn while working on their self-regulation skills.
