My students must keep up with the latest advancements in technology in order to continue their entrepreneurship skills of running a business as well community service learning projects. We are reimagining what education looks like through adapting and implementing Gold Standard Project Based Learning. Project Based Learning engages students into deeper thinking as well as transforms their educational experience. Students will work in teams to create and plan a business, develop a business concept, conduct market research, conduct a realistic financial plan and pitch their businesses to an audience. My enrichment students as well as my talented and gifted students love experiences that are rich with real world application. My school does not have the equipment that will allow students to produce real authentic work that will showcase their entrepreneurship skills. The purchase of a Heat 360 sublimation machine will ultimately provide my students the connection of real world experience in entrepreneurship, reimagining school through the use of project based learning and community service learning projects.
