My students will be given a great opportunity to take a healthcare science class, and during the 9 week course my students will learn the valuable skill of Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation. My students will use CPR mannequins to learn this life saving device with the help of DonorsChoose. This is a skill that can be used anywhere; school, sporting events, church, grocery stores, parks, malls, traveling. The more people who are CPR trained, the more lives can be saved. Not only will students benefit from this project but teachers and coaches will as well. They will be given the opportunity to be trained yearly as well. This project can reach over 400 students a year!
