My project will help students that have Individual Educational Plans in language. The hands-on activities are for language development. The resource and activity boxes are materials that prepares students for reading with lots of practice in problem solving. Activity mats and realistic miniatures will build skills in size comparing, sorting and matching. A matching game will help kids recognize and name tons of everyday words. Using magnetic rods will give lots of practice at descriptive words, categories and sequencing topics for kids. Positional words will be learned by moving manipulatives into different positions. Also, photo cards will be used for boosting oral language and vocabulary skills. These are all fun ways to learn our language!
