I am requesting markers, pencils, paints and paper to create throughout the 2022 school year. I believe each student should have the same available resources as every other student. In our rural area, many students are from a low income background. Many are unable to purchase supplies for a simple art box. I want each student to have everything they need to succeed, to create, to experiment and learn. By supplying our room with pencils, markers, paints and paper, you can help my k-6 students create many masterpieces during the upcoming year. Some of our favorite masterpieces are watercolor resist Ted Harrison landscapes and Romero Brito inspired marker creations. Art supplies do not only allow children to play, but also to express themselves. Through play they will learn how each material is used. Through expression they can communicate their dreams.
