Reading is so important for students. It impacts not only their vocabulary skills but influences how they do in their other academic classes and in their ability to communicate. I want to support my students with their reading by providing them with flexible seating and a calming environment that allows them the space needed to expand their love of reading. Most my students do not have access to environments at home that support good reading habits. I want to provide a space that allows them freedom to choose the best seating for them to read and engage with the literature.
