Having an exercise bike in the classroom will provide my students with a way to work through frustration and calm themselves down, it helps students learn self-regulation skills. An exercise bike in the classroom can also have major benefits for students who are fidgety or anxious. It gives them a place to channel that energy. Allowing students access to an exercise bike within the classroom has also been linked to improve their concentration and have better memory. I am very passionate about creating a classroom environment in which all students have what they need to in order to succeed. Adding an exercise bike to my classroom will be one more tool my students can utilize.
