This is my first classroom and I truly believe flexible seating and sensory toys are very important to help my incoming students to succeed. Providing flexible seating and sensory toys in my classroom will help my students be more engaged and help them focus. The flexible seating will give them the freedom of choosing different seating options that will be best suitable for them as individuals. Providing the sensory toys will benefit children on the spectrum by helping them engage with their senses, provide feedback to their sensory systems, and regulate their sensory needs.
