Parents will be able to use colored speech-language materials to target sound production, sentence production, vocabulary, word order (syntax), practice ‘wh’ questions, etc. I will make activities for parents containing their child’s target goal. For many children with vocabulary delays, colored activities can make the pictures easier to identify. A blessing from virtual learning is that parents were able to participate in therapy and learn techniques to use with their children. Now, they need materials. This project also builds positive home/school relationships and improved communication between the therapist and caregivers.
