Our district is very fortunate to have been awarded a blended learning grant in which all of our students now have access to one-to-one devices. In my classroom specifically, we have Chromebooks. Students can not only focus on what they are working on, but have better engagement in their own learning. Blended learning allows for us as teachers to differentiate work to each student and their needs. They have some choice in what they work on and that choice has increased engagement and learning in the classroom so much! Student growth is amazing when technology is incorporated into learning. Headphones really allow students that engagement with minimal distractions.
