This easel will used during circle time and during small groups. In a Kindergarten classroom this is where a bulk of new learning takes place. During circle time students share their thoughts and walk through the schedule for the day. Morning message introduces students to new vocabulary, spelling patterns, and phonemes. During small group I will differentiate learning for each student so that learning and growth is optimized. The easel will also be used to introduce new material. Students will also have the opportunity to come to the easel and show their understanding during whole group and small group learning.
