We are introducing STEM to our school for the first time this year. It's my goal to transform the classroom from a traditional teacher-led environment to a collaborative student center environment. The donations to this project will help facilitate this change by giving the students a choice to choose the best space to voice their ideas collaboratively. Students can choose to work at the whiteboard table to write and draw their ideas efficiently. My active students may choose to work at the standing table to work effectively and not disrupt the groups around them. Or students may choose one of the comfy mobile options and find a spot in the room that suits the needs of their team. By giving my students this space, it will allow students the opportunity to understand what true collaboration and problem-solving will look like in the real world. This space allows all students with different abilities to have the empowerment to guide their learning. Help me pave the way to establishing a 21st-century classroom!
