My students have an insatiable need to know why society is the way it is and have a strong desire to make changes necessary for a better and more just society. Adding "Stamped: Racism, Antiracism, and You" to our 8th grade Social Studies curriculum will provide representation in the content and will put us on the right path to meet the need for equality and racial justice. This book will serve as a launching pad for the hope that things can change and will give students ideas about projects they can participate in, in order to shape the world into how they envision it.
