Graphic novels are an amazing way to engage reluctant readers! Long past are the days when these gems were not considered “serious” educational tools. Entire reading and writing lessons are centered around not only how graphic novels are set up and read, but also how students can write one on their own! I would love to have a small library to share with our ELL students. More often than not, these books are checked out consistently; and having additional, level-appropriate ones on hand would be tremendous! Having finished products in our room for students to access would be incredibly helpful.
