Most of my students have siblings learning at home in the same setting and it can be very difficult for them to listen to me during live sessions. It is also difficult for them to focus and try their best when they can't block out other noises around them. Headphones can be an expensive item to purchase for families that have more than one child, which is, for the most part, the families in my teaching community. It will also benefit that each child has their own headphones instead of sharing them with other students, especially during this pandemic dynamic.
