In 5th grade, we learn how to graph on a coordinate plane in math. We also use a lot of charts in science and maps in our U.S. history class. Color printing is especially linked to helping students interpret and understand charts and graphs. It also aids in retention of material covered in class. Colored inks aid in comprehension and there is a significant link between color printed materials and students' participation and engagement in lessons. Reams of black-and-white handouts become monotonous and confusing for students. Unfortunately, our school does not have a color printer. Please help me create naturally engaging lessons that bridge our print and digital lesson content.
