My students will benefit greatly from creating an autobiography because not only will they write about their family, their history, but their current interest, hopes, dreams, goals, and aspirations. My students can begin their life long journey of greatness, they must first understand where they come from and establish a list of dreams, hopes, and goals. To help them be as successful as possible on their path to accomplishing their goals they will need to evaluate their past and create a plan for success. I strongly feel if they create a book about where they come from it will give them a sense of pride and accomplishment and drive them to reach their goals whether it be college, or another more interesting path in life.
