As I look forward to the 2021-22 school year, I know that many of my students will be returning to in-person learning for the first time since March 2020. Students who have been learning at home have gotten used to having flexibility of learning from the couch, their bed, or the kitchen table. Many of my third graders will not have sat in a desk all day since first grade! Instead of forcing my students back into the rigid confines of a desk all day, I want to give them other seating options that will help them use their energy, focus on their work, and feel comfortable learning at school.

About my class
