The musical instruments I have listed will allow my students the ability to read and follow sheet music or digital videos while playing. Our music classroom allows the students to begin music literacy from a very young age so they can continue to become musicians and strengthen our band and music programs for the future. We use hands-on activities that allow the students to accompany songs or improvise and create their own music which is considered the higher order thinking schools we strive for in music education. Lastly, we will be using our instruments for various group activities in our class.
