Our district will no longer be providing copiers to the teachers. The copiers are used to provide supplemental as well as curricular print materials for study guides and correspondence to the parents. Color printed material will help the students analyze and understand charts and graphs as well as assist with retaining material covered in class. The color printer will also help create interactive visual aids which in turn helps teachers communicate complex concepts to students. The students can become involved in games, activities, posters, and calendars which is an integral part of the first grade curriculum. Having a color printer will allow students to take home work that can be used as project-based learning. The Brother Color All-In-One Printer will function to serve many roles in the classroom. It will help students to focus on print material that otherwise might become difficult if reading for long periods of time. The use of color pictures that go along with the printed text will help engage the students in natural curiosity. Gaming is a fun way to enhance learning. Without printed material, students lose out on this aspect of education. Students who have access to printed games will have a more enthusiastic positive attitude toward learning.
