Long Way Down, a story that takes place in 60 powerful seconds, grips the reader from the start. It is a story that mirrors the difficult decisons our own students, at times, are forced to face. It is a story that resonates with a population affected by upbringing and race. "Reading is boring, I've never read a book, or have been interested in a book until this one," was the phrase we heard most often when we read this story. This year we only had three copies to share with our students, and the number of students impacted was limited to one ELA class. You can help us reach more students in more classes, increase academic achievment, and foster a love of reading with your donation.
