As a first year teacher, this book shelf and supports will help my students be able to see a variety of books that will allow them to read independently at their own grade level. Allowing my students to see the book cover will encourage them to use the illustrations to think about what they are interested in reading about. This will allow my students to pick a book and enjoy reading without any concerns for accessibility. Some of my students will need more time to learn to read, and seeing their books will help them to pick one easier without stress.
