These items will give my preteen students an opportunity to sit in various ways while learning which may help alleviate pain from growth spurts. The kids crouch, squat and stand to be more comfortable now while using standard chairs. I think that they would be able to focus their attention on the lesson and less on pain in their legs, feet or other areas if given a variety of ways to sit while learning. I know that if given the chance many opt for anything except their desk chair and I can't blame them, I would too.
