Sudden cardiac arrest is the leading cause of death among student-athletes and an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) device is the only tool that can save them. With that being said, the importance of having an AED machine in my school is crucial. I am currently serving as the Physical Education teacher to over 400 students in grades K4-10th. One of my lessons each year is to go over life-saving procedures with the help of the Milwaukee Fire Dept. and they constantly stress how important it is to have a Automated External Defibrillator device available. Please consider donating to this project so we can have this important medical device so we are never in a situation where we can’t save a child’s life.
