These items will help my students make physical connections with what I am teaching. When they use the magnetic tiles they will be able to see that more than one shape can make a different shape and they can look at the different characteristics of shapes. When using the place value board they will be able to recognize what it means and how to regroup different numbers! When using the clocks they will be able to recognize and practice reading time at the hour and half hour while using the manipulative given to them! These things will help my students progress and make real life connections.
