As a visual art teacher. I want my students to explore a variety of mediums and media to encourage the art skills required to make creative art projects. This 2021-2022 school year, my art students will experience and create art in an open art room filled with choice stations: painting, drawing, sculpture. Mixed media, digital art, printmaking, clay, and collage. The students need materials to create and learn supporting skills in the creating process to be successful. I feel this open art room with access to many materials will encourage students to explore and create their ideas two and three-dimensionally.
