I have watched my students go through some pretty tough situations this year. I have tried to create an atmosphere that students desire to come to and learn. I find it to be quite expensive, but have managed to do it all on my on so far. I need some help if I am going to provide a dedicated area for self care. Some times my students get frustrated and just need a timeout to get calm and try again. Students may need to squeeze a stress ball, sit in an area of the class that is not their desk. I desire to have that chill space for my students to reflect and recharge to come back and maybe look at the problem differently which can promote success. Having a couple of area rugs and a bean bag chair is just what the doctor ordered. I hope someone could help me out.
