Unfortunately, due to world events with Covid, our students are limited to staying only in their classroom. This means that they are unable to go to the science lab to experience any plant experiments or seed observations. We want to bring excitement to our classroom by bringing the outdoors in and having our own growing system! The hydroponic systems would allow my students to have their own personalized eco-friendly planting experience right in their own classroom! We will be able to observe the plant life cycle and conduct investigations as to what will help plants grow successfully. We can also learn more about the benefits of growing plants in water compared to soil. We will be able to compare the growth rate of these plants and how we are helping the Earth by conserving energy with these systems. The hydroponics system will give students the opportunity to explore tasting new vegetables and foster healthy eating habits. We know this planting system will help bring a smile to our student's faces and excitement to be in school during these uncertain times. Thank you for your support!
