Hands on, tangible items help our students to visualize language targets needed for improving functional communication in class. CreateAScene Felt Board Series will allow students to create scenes and describe them using nouns, verbs, adjectives, while also formulating grammatically correct sentences. Supplies such as the Alphabet Sounds Teaching Tubs allow the students to see objects that start with the speech sounds they have difficulty saying. Resources like these make real-life application opportunities for our students. Without a good foundation for language, students struggle with reading and other classroom tasks needed to be successful with their education.
