My students have varied abilities in math and reading. My hope for next year is for my students to be able to learn through more hands-on activities, especially in math. There are some new and tough math skills that are introduced in 5th grade that are not as easy to simply learn on a computer (coordinate planes and measuring angles). These resources will give students the opportunity to more effectively learn some of these 5th grade skills in a visual, hands-on way. I am really hoping to have students work on the computer less next year!
