The books will allow my students to continue being excellent readers and elevate their thoughts from stories. Books can open a whole new world for us. We sometimes find ourselves lost in books. These books can do that for my students. I plan on having my students do independent reading time when they come to school face to face next school year together. They can sit on the carpet, or in the reading corner independently or with a friend. All books in my library have such a persuasive story to tell, and I am so excited for my students to get invested in them. I have kept my students interests and background in mind. They will be able to connect these books to their lives in many ways. The supplies will allow my students to work hard and show their knowledge any way they can. You want to draw it? Grab the colors and construction paper. You want to write about it? Grab some pencils and paper and write whatever is on your mind. These students will be more invested and motivated in their education with the supplies. I can make activities more engaging and they will have plenty of materials to use.
