Every day in my classroom we take time to independently read. Students get to choose books from our classroom library to place in their book bins so that they have them ready for each day. Several of my students have read most of the books in our classroom library already. Not only do we use them at school, but we also use them at home. Students are able to borrow books every day from our classroom library to read at home. They are expected to read 30 minutes every day and enjoy bringing books to share with their families. Being able to have a variety for them choose from would be a dream come true!
