These books will help my students by giving them access to more books that are engaging and interesting! The materials will be used in the classroom during small group instruction. As a first-year teacher, it is a struggle to teach reading skills without a strong library to pull books. The starter classroom library will get us on the right track. The phonemic awareness games will engage my students in a game-like activity that will engage all parts of their brain to make my instruction "sticky!" which will go a long way in improving their word attack skills.
