I am requesting bird house kits, a garden cart and garden tools, hummingbird nests and books about Monarch butterflies and humming birds. My students will use the materials I am collecting to resurrect our neglected Monarch Butterfly Station. Students will weed the overgrowth, prepare the garden soil for new shrubs, plantings, and berries to grow. The books and activities will show my students the how, what, where and whys of gardening and the tools are needed to put our plans into action. I need your help because the preparation to resurrect our gardens is the most important step in achieving our goal of making them a welcoming home for the Monarch Butterflies, native bluebirds and hummingbirds.
