HMS will become a consolidated campus which will service PK-8th grade students and will have have a name change. The new campus will specialize in a health service magnet program that feeds into a Health Magnet High School. The library maker space is a perfect learning environment that can support the health service courses on campus by providing engaging tools, activities and incentives to help motivate students to seek-out a career in the health service industry. The library maker space will become an extension to the classroom setting for students and teachers. The UV sanitizer will be helpful in the sanitation of books and helping students feel more confident in checking out books without the worry of taking circulated books home to their family.
