I am lucky to teach a business class that all sophomores take. This allows me to meet all of the students that range in learning styles and personalities. Last year, multimedia was added to my schedule. The students have been creative and enthusiastic about trying new projects and learning how to create, alter, and edit media. I have taught Accounting for several years. The students in this class feel very successful, especially when they receive college credit for their covered material. I am also the COOP coordinator for our district. This allows me to teach, guide, and mentor students in a job outside of the school that may help them make life-lasting mentorships with business leaders. I am also a FIRST Robotics coach. I am excited to add learning outside of my traditional classroom setting.
