Learning about earning and spending money is my goal for this project. I would love to give my students a classroom store as an incentive. Students will have the opportunity to earn coins throughout the week for positive behaviors. Using a MacBook laptop I will be able to help them track their spending and display it on the smart board. This is an excellent tool for financial literacy and will help lead my 5th graders on the road to success while preparing them for the real world. My students will have to make real-life decisions based on the money I provide to them to choose which items to purchase from our store.
