This project is in place to help foster deeper learning in the classroom. Many of the resources listed I plan to use to engage students during morning meeting and reading centers. The scholastic News is something that I have used before to help students learn about current events that are age appropriate and target reading skills and social emotional skills! The pocket charts and classroom materials are listed to create an organized environment and a place for morning meeting to gather and start out days with calendar, counting, days of the week and jobs!
