Virtual learning comes with new opportunities to learn something new as well as challenges. A device, such as an iPad, Apple Pencil, and keyboard, is needed for all students whether they are learning virtually or in person. The iPad will be used to assess students virtually and in person. The assessments will be used as a tool in order to drive my planning and teaching because they will let me know their current level in reading and other academic subjects. Students will be able to use the iPad for assessments, practice using website applications, and create projects. Students who are in-person will be able to access the APPS in order to complete STEMM activities. They will also use the iPad to complete various projects such as researching a specific disease and creating a slideshow on the topic. And since our school and district are providing various website applications, students can practice their Math and Reading skills with the use of an iPad. There are so many projects that can be done using an iPad!
