The students will use these dry-erase graphs to graph equations collaboratively. When students work together to graph equations and dependent and independent variables, their understanding of real-life application becomes clearer. Graphing is a focus in all upper-level mathematics courses and these graphs will be used on a regular basis in our classrooms. By supplying our students with these large dry-erase graphs, you are enhancing their understanding as they collaborate to create visual representations of mathematical concepts. These graphs are not only large enough to allow students to work together, but also allow the instructor to observe and guide without hampering the collaborative work.
