This project is for Mrs. Dowell and Mrs. Gilchrist's first-grade classrooms. These games will be used in our stations to allow students to practice key skills with the support of their peers. The board games will allow students to learn problem-solving, collaboration, and teamwork skills. These specific games will also build a strong math and literacy foundation. First grade is a critical year for students to gain confidence in basic math computation and problem-solving as well as phonological awareness and early reading skills which these games will support.
