Scholastic News is a great classroom resource for giving our children up to date information about real world events happening now. I will use these magazines to enhance student engagement in reading. We will read the magazines in class and complete the activities that go along with each article. I will also use the accompanying website to show the students videos that support their reading from the magazine. Once we are finished with the magazine in class, it will go home with students to provide them a reading resource for home. I look forward to using these in my classroom to enhance student engagement!!
