I am a reading intervention teacher and work in small groups of up to 6 struggling students at one time. I pull them out from their regular class to bring to a computer lab where I have only a kidney table to work with them at. Having nice, colorful, comfortable seats for the students to sit on while reading books/passages and targeting reading skills will help alleviate some of the stress that they already have. Since I am in a computer lab, I don't have white board space to write on, so the easel will certainly come in handy especially using the magnetic reading skill posters to help guide the students focus more.
