Students in classroom are all labeled as special needs. Some have ADHD, others AU, but all have learning disabilities. We have both math and reading resource time together, one hour each. Sitting for an hour is a lot for most kids, ESPECIALLY when learning is difficult! We have one exercise ball, and one chair cushion for all of my students to share. Whenever a student is able to use either of these products, I see a huge rise in the amount of work they complete. I believe that by adding more flexible seating options will greatly improve the success of my SPED kiddos.
