I have very minimal space in my classroom. It is easier for the students to keep their books, notebooks, and papers right in front of them instead of shoving everything in their backpacks. Having their supplies right in front of them will also cut down on transition time trying to find the supplies they need. Plus each student will feel special having their own personal supply book box. Their backpack will be lighter so they won’t complain about carrying too much stuff. With the six different colors I can color code tables into groups.
