Students need a safe and welcoming environment in which to learn. Many students come into class dealing with myriad personal challenges. Traditional classroom seating is not as cozy as a beanbag. We need an area rug to make the area feel more inviting. The items I am requesting will be used for in-person learning rather than virtual. Students will use the bean bags during independent study. For example, they might watch a video about the GMO controversy and analyze it using scientific facts and ethical principles. Thank you for considering my project.
